About Seth

A documentary photographer based in Honduras. His work is focused on documenting threats to the human condition in Central America and beyond. In Honduras, he explores the root causes of migration, where the people of this small country suffer from extreme poverty, a corrupt government, violence towards environmentalists and indigenous cultures, gang culture, and climate tragedies. His work has been featured in The Intercept, The Nation, Vice World News, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian, CODA story, and others. In 2022 he was a finalist for the Gomma Grant and Felix Schoeller Global Peace Award. In 2023 Seth joined the new cohort led by Ed Kashi and James Estrin at Anderson Ranch Arts Center for a 3-year mentorship on documentary storytelling and was selected to be a member of the Vital Impacts Mentorship program led by Ami Vitale. He is also an alumnus of Eddie Adams Workshop XXXV and Missouri Photo Workshop 75.
